At WordPress they have retired feed stats, the tab in my blogs management dashboard which told me how many of you read my blog using a feed reader of some kind. And most of you do without visiting the site. It was a real motivator to see these stats every time I used WordPress so I am going to miss it a lot.

I am with you on this. The feed stats gave me a far better picture of what was happening at my blog(s) than did the blog stats. I would hope that WP will poll before they do something like this again.

I’ve been using my Feedreader stats with Blogger and now in WordPress as well! If you poke around via Google you’ll find many descriptions how to implement these in WP!
