Expose gamers at digg

Read this post by founder Kevin Rose of digg where he states he is taking down the top users list at the site. I don’t think that it is a wise move and agree with the arguments put forth by Jason Calacanis. I can imagine that recognition is the main driving force behind the devotion of the top diggers. It takes a long time to build a reputation and just seconds to lose it. Therefore, keep the list and try to expose the gamers. It is in the benefit of everybody involved and therefore I believe the system will filter our the bad elements by itself.
