The business of trends

Although I enjoy these newsletters occasionaly and recognize the value contained in them the following thought occured to me. When does the month arrive that they have to admit they haven’t discovered a trend? Or they haven’t been able to synthesize all cues and come up with a fancy trend concept like “trysumers”? Probably never. The business is too big. It would make them more credible though.
